Alaska Ocean Cruises Day...

Ocean day cruises are available in several areas of Alaska but the most popular destinations are Glacier Bay, Kenai Fjords and Prince William Sound. Glacier Bay day cruises originate from Glacier Bay National Park Headquarters near Gustavus a short plane trip or boat ride from Juneau. Trips to Kenai Fjords originate in Seward, Alaska while day trips to Prince William Sound begin in either Whittier or Valdez.

These trips offer a wonderful glimpse of coastal Alaska with its dramatic mountain scenery, tidewater glaciers and wildlife. Whales, seals, sea lions, orcas, sea otters, mountain goats, brown and black bears, puffins, kittiwakes and murres are commonly seen during the summer months. The trips also have the advantage of comfortable accommodations during inclement weather and naturalists on board to guide passengers of the sights found on the trip.

Choose your eco and cultural tourism provider by activity or location through AWRTA's PLAN YOUR TRIP database.
