Network Alaska

This site promotes discounted Alaska wilderness and Ecotourism travel. It includes trip planning information, descriptions of Alaska's wilderness regions, and listings of wilderness-dependent businesses.

We have a special section on last-minute deals and discounted Alaska trips from a listing of over 300 travel and service providers. There are descriptions of Alaska's vast wilderness regions, a section on trip planning, and write-ups on many of the activities that you want to experience. Whether your Alaska dream includes hiking, sea kayaking, cultural tourism, wildlife viewing, small ship cruising, river trips, birding, authentic lodging, camping, soft or extreme adventures, our members are the Alaska professionals who can guide your way.

This is the site where you will find all the "small operators" that know those special places where mass tourism corporations never venture. This is our Alaska. We welcome you to join us.

Planning Your Trip...
Planning a trip to Alaska can be a long process. Information can be difficult to find. Lodging, transportation and activities can be expensive due to the high cost of business in Alaska, the small number of travelers on many trips and the short operating season. Many travelers are not likely to return to Alaska year after year, so it's especially important to carefully define your travel goals. Then select the regions, activities, transportation, lodging and style of travel that you desire. This site and its links should provide much of the information you'll need for your trip planning.

We encourage you to look beyond the advertisements to our memberlist. Then follow our guidelines on how to select an Alaska travel provider. The enjoyment of your Alaska vacation depends on the effort you place in choosing the right travel providers for you.

A portion of the discounted trip sale proceeds from this site are donated by the posting companies to the Alaska Wilderness Recreation and Tourism Association (AWRTA) to help preserve the wild character of Alaska. AWRTA is a private non-profit trade group representing organizations that depend on the unique and wild character of Alaska's wilderness for their prosperity. We appreciate your support.
